Deleting an asset resource
You can delete a resource from a digital asset if you decide you no longer want that resource associated with the asset in question.
Once you delete a resource from the digital asset, that file is permanently removed from the storage directory. You need to upload the file again if you want to reuse it later.
To remove a resource from an asset

Log in to the Admin console. |

Choose Assets from the navigation pane. |
The Assets page displays. The digital asset hierarchy appears under Directory.

Do one of the following: |

Use the Directory hierarchy to locate the asset you want to delete. Refer to Navigating the digital asset hierarchy for information about navigating to a particular directory node and digital asset. |

Choose the Edit ( ) option for the asset you want to delete a resource from. |
The Edit Asset page displays.

Choose Manage Resources. |
The Manage Resources page displays.
|

Choose the Delete ( ) option for the resource you want to remove. |

From the confirmation message, choose one of the following options: |

|
OK removes the selected resource from the asset. |
Important: This will permanently delete the digital file from the storage directory.
|

|
Cancel ends the delete process without deleting the resource. |
